Czech partner
Vice Versa is an association formed by trainers, youth workers and educators with a passion for non-formal education, based in Prague, Czech Republic.
Its main aim is to promote active citizenship and non-formal education by providing possibilities for young people and youth leaders to be socially active, take part in different events and support them in their personal development and further education.
We aim to support intercultural dialogue, active citizenship, environmental and global education and awareness, and creation of links between formal and non-formal education by providing innovative educational opportunities both for young people and those working with them.
Our members organise different educational events – both locally and internationally. We give big emphasis on co-operation and linking up with other organizations active in similar field for exchange of experience and good practice sharing.

The mission of our school Center is to ensure and provide students with a developmentally appropriate education in all our school programs and to ensure our teachers' professionalism as well as the best educational conditions. An additional unit that is also part of our school Center is Adult Training Centre, which educates adults and also organizes informal educational programs such as digital literacy, practical training, language learning etc. We also have a lot of experience in organizing workshop, roundtable and training programs. We work with different target groups such as: migrants, adults, vulnerable groups etc.

The Huercal-Overa City Council develops through its different departments, and municipal entities a wide range of projects, as part of its roles of administration and government of the municipality such as:
• Cultural programs and activities.
• Youth information center, organization of workshops, and activities for young people.
• Workshops, training, and a range of activities for seniors.
• Sports activities and promotion of health, physical and mental well-being for children, youth, adults and seniors.
• Training projects for the acquisition of working skills: new technologies, languages, entrepreneurship, etc..
• Participation in European initiatives and projects to reduce unemployment among young people, improve employability, and promote adult education and encourage cooperation and
mobility between European countries.
• Awareness and sensitization campaigns to promote real equality between men and women.
• Environmental education projects related to animal protection, sustainable development, awareness about climate change, and organic farming.
• Collaboration and support to youth, seniors, cultural and women's associations, and other entities in defense of the investigation of some diseases and disabled people based in Huércal – Overa.
• Intercultural Days to help the inclusion of immigrants residing in the town.

Centrum Kształcenia Ustawicznego im. Henryka Sienkiewicza w Białymstoku - The Centre for Continuing Education in Bialystok (The CKU) - was established in 2005 as the first public school for adults in Podlaskie voivodship (CKU has about 500 students, and employ about 60 teachers + 20 staff). The CKU provides opportunity for gaining and completing general education as well as
professional skills and qualifications.
Types of education in the CKU:
- Elementary School for Adults,
- Comprehensive High School for Adults,
- Post-secondary School,
- Vocational Courses.
Since 2012 CKU has been offering the wide range of free vocational courses for students over 18 e.g.: agriculture, landscape architecture, floristry, IT, accounting, photography.
CKU participates in various educational and cultural activities and projects in co-operation with local and international partners, organize seminars and trainings.
The CKU is a work place of professional counselors. The work of counselors direct to elementary and high schools students, and adults, who search for their place on the job market.
The professional counselors are also responsible for cooperation with employers and diagnosis of requirements of CKU's students.
In CKU also exist the Bialystok Academy of Family (BAR). Last year CKU was awarded with the first prize in a national competition of Presidential Couple "Good Climate for Families" in the category of "conscious parenting" for the appointment and activities of the Bialystok Academy of Family. The main task of the challenges facing the BAR is widely understood education and promotion of the family. The activities are aimed at all social groups: youth, spouses, parents and grandparents. The tasks are realized by organizing lectures, seminars and workshops, where experts take the issues concerning the family, education, and strengthening family relationships. CKU's team consists of people that truly understand the problems of the family.
